Ford have been making great cars for a long time and the current Focus continues that trend. It has become the modern day ‘peoples’ car thanks to its quality, practicality and reliability, and it’s a vehicle that is liked by everyone from families to pensioners and to those that want something enjoyable to drive.
Spacious and Comfortable
It’s been one of Britain’s best selling cars since it was first introduced back in 1998 and for good reason. Sitting inside a Focus is a nice place to be, it has a great driving position with plenty of front and rear headroom. Rear legroom isn’t the best in class, but it’s nothing to worry about and is perfectly adequate for most adults.
Driver focused
The interior is modern yet functional and the dashboard/centre console are focused towards the driver and the quality of the two digital displays are superb. Overall the Focus’s cabin is very competitive against its rivals, including its boot capacity of 316 litres. In the estate version boot space increases to 476 litres so bear that in mind if capacity is important to you.
Driving a Focus is very satisfying whether you are cruising on a motorway or travelling on twistier rural roads. It’s quiet and comfortable on the move with very little wind or road noise. The excellent chassis set up provides plenty of grip with very little body roll and it has a smoothness that’s hard to fault and makes it one of the best cars in this class for comfort.
Overall there is very little to criticise and lots to praise. The Focus is a very strong car competing for the lead in its class.
